Born in Nicaragua, Einstein came to San Francisco at age ten. Raised in a home with two fashionable women, his mother and sister, Einstein became familiar with all things beauty related. He was often found cutting his sister’s dolls’ hair or watching his mother get ready for a night on the town. Little did they know he took very detailed notes.

In high school, Einstein became the go-to guy for hair and make-up. If there was a party, he was getting all the girls ready. He also studied photography, contributing to his natural creative genes. At 24, Einstein opened his first salon in the Mission district. After years of success, he decided to join the corporate world and learn new tricks of the trade; he worked as distributor sales educator and development manager for (Redken/L’oreal) and a studio educator for Wella (Procter & Gamble).

In October of 2008, Einstein decided to go back to work as a hairdresser and opened Hair Science Salon in a building in the Mission district catered to creative and health-minded businesses. He is the sole owner and stylist of Hair Science Salon— Einstein’s clients get a one-on-one, hands-on, personalized experience.
